Performance Registration Form

Dear parents/carers,

All of our students did really well, not only the Chinese language learning but also singing, I’m so pleased. As a music teacher, I'd love to give them a good performance opportunity in our coming Chinese New Year party. All pupils are encouraged to join this big celebration, there will be showcases, including lion dance, singing, folk dance followed by a traditional Chinese New Year lunch.

Year 2 class plans to perform 3 songs,

1. Practise Good Manners, with simple dance movements, nearly all actions have been remembered by hearts now. Our lovely girls are doing so well, a few boys too.
2. Happy New Year Song, we are going to add a few percussion instruments, which will be played by pupils.
3. Looking for a Friend, a music game song, it is part of our current Chinese language study listed in our text book on page 31.

• Dress code: prefer the traditional Chinese costumes, if not, wear something red or anything smart will be fine.
• Time:  Please come at 11:30am for a rehearsal on performance day.
• Venue: The Harlow Chinese School
